Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Till the appointed day." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 and after a while you shall know its news' 88
