Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
