Say: 'My worshipers who believe, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world there is good and the earth of Allah is wide; surely, those who are patient will be recompensed in full without count' 10 Say: I am commanded that I should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience. 11 and I am bidden to be foremost among those who surrender themselves unto God." 12 Say: "Behold, I would dread, were I to rebel against my Sustainer, the suffering [which would befall me] on that awesome Day [of Judgment]." 13 Say: Allah (it is Whom) I serve, being sincere to Him in my obedience: 14 Serve then what you like besides Him. Say: The losers surely are those who shall have lost themselves and their families on the day of resurrection; now surely that is the clear loss. 15 Above them they shall have layers of fire and beneath them layers. By this Allah puts fear into His worshipers' 'O My worshipers, fear Me' 16 Those who have avoided worshipping idols and have turned in repentance to God will receive the glad news. 17 who listen to what is said and follow what is best in it. These are the ones God has guided; these are the people endowed with understanding. 18 But what of him against whom the sentence of punishment is justified? Can you rescue one who is already in the Fire? 19 But those who fear Allah and keep their duty to their Lord (Allah), for them are built lofty rooms; one above another under which rivers flow (i.e. Paradise). (This is) the Promise of Allah: and Allah does not fail in (His) Promise. 20 See you not, that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and causes it to penetrate the earth, (and then makes it to spring up) as water-springs and afterward thereby produces crops of different colours, and afterward they wither and you see them turn yellow, then He makes them dry and broken pieces. Verily, in this, is a Reminder for men of understanding. 21
