One whose chest (heart and mind) is left open for Islam (submission to His will) shall receive light from God. Woe to those whose hearts have become like stone against the remembrance of God. They are clearly in error. 22 God bestows from on high the best of all teachings in the shape of a divine writ fully consistent within itself, repeating each statement [of the truth] in manifold forms [a divine writ] whereat shiver the skins of all who of their Sustainer stand in awe: [but] in the end their skins and their hearts do soften at the remembrance of [the grace of] God. Such is God's guidance: He guides therewith him that wills [to be guided] whereas he whom God lets go astray can never find any guide 23 Is he then, who will confront with his face the awful torment on the Day of Resurrection (as he who enters peacefully in Paradise)? And it will be said to the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.): "Taste what you used to earn!" 24 Those before them belied, and so the torment came on them from directions they perceived not. 25 So Allah made them taste humiliation in the life of the world. And surely the torment of the Hereafter is greater - if they but know! 26 We have set forth to men all kinds of parables in this Quran so that they may take heed: 27 This Quran is a flawless reading text in the Arabic language. Perhaps they will have fear of God. 28 God tells a parable in which there is a company of quarrelsome people and only one of them is well disciplined. Can they be considered as equal? It is only God who deserves all praise. In fact, most of them do not know. 29 (O Prophet), you are destined to die and they too are destined to die. 30 Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord. 31
