۞ And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who fabricateth a lie against Allah, and belieth the truth when it cometh unto him? Will not in Hell be an abode for the infidels? 32 And whoso bringeth the truth and believeth therein - Such are the dutiful. 33 They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 34 And to this end, God will efface from their record the worst that they ever did, and give them their reward in accordance with the best that they were doing [in life]. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His bondman? Yet they would frighten thee with those beside Him? And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there shall be no guide. 36 And no one can mislead whomever Allah guides; is not Allah the Most Honourable, the Avenger? 37 And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers." 38 Say, "My people, do whatever is in your power -- and so will I. Soon you shall come to know 39 On whom cometh a torment humiliating him, and on whom alighteth a torment lasting. 40 Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them. 41
