۞ Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Turn unto your Lord repentant, and surrender unto Him, before there come unto you the doom, when ye cannot be helped. 54 “And follow this, the best among all, which has been sent down towards you from your Lord, before the punishment comes suddenly upon you whilst you are unaware.” 55 Lest a soul should say: "Alas, I was heedless of God and only laughed;" 56 Or, lest it should say: had Allah but guided me, I should surely have been of the God-fearing! 57 "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!' 58 'Indeed, My verses did come to you, but you belied them. You were proud and became one of the unbelievers' 59 If you see those who had imputed lies to God on the Day of Resurrection, black would be their faces (with disgrace). Is there not a place in Hell for the arrogant? 60 And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of everything, and He is over everything a Trustee. 62 His are the keys of the heavens and the earth, and they who disbelieve the revelations of Allah - such are they who are the losers. 63
