۞ Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 53 Turn to your Lord and surrender yourselves to Him before the chastisement over-takes you; for then you will receive no help. 54 And follow the best that has been revealed to you from your Lord before there comes to you the punishment all of a sudden while you do not even perceive; 55 So that no soul may say, “Alas! The failures that I committed regarding Allah – and indeed I used to mock!” 56 and lest a person should say: “If only Allah had guided me, I should have been one of the God-fearing”; 57 or lest he should say, when he becomes aware of the suffering [that awaits him,] "Would that I had a second chance [in life,] so that I could be among the doers of good!" 58 God will reply to the soul, "My revelations had certainly come to you but you rejected them. You were puffed-up with pride and you became an unbeliever". 59 And upon the Day of Resurrection thou shalt see those who lied against God, their faces blackened; is there not in Gehenna a lodging for those that are proud? 60 But, Allah will save those who fear Him with their winnings (Paradise). No evil shall touch them, nor shall they ever grieve. 61 God is the creator of all things, and He is the guarantor of all things. 62 His are the treasures of the heavens and the earth; and (as for) those who disbelieve in the communications of Allah, these it is that are the losers. 63
