It is Allah who made for you the night in which to rest and the day to see. Allah is bountiful to the people, yet most people do not give thanks. 61 That then is God, your Lord, the Creator of everything; there is no god but He. How then are you perverted? 62 Even so perverted are they who deny the signs of God. 63 It is Allah Who has made for you the earth as a resting place, and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape- and made your shapes beautiful,- and has provided for you Sustenance, of things pure and good;- such is Allah your Lord. So Glory to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! 64 He is the Living: there is no god but He so call upon Him, making religion pure for Him. All praise unto Allah, the Lord of the worlds! 65 ۞ Say thou: verily I am forbidden to worship these whom ye call upon beside Allah when evidences have come unto me from my Lord, and I am commanded that I should submit to the Lord of the Worlds. 66 It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of] maturity, then [further] that you become elders. And among you is he who is taken in death before [that], so that you reach a specified term; and perhaps you will use reason. 67 It is He Who gives life and death; so whenever He wills a thing, He only says to it “Be” – it thereupon happens! 68
