54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

HA MIM. 1 A Revelation from (Allah), Most Gracious, Most Merciful;- 2 A Book whose verses have been distinguished and explained, a lucid discourse for people who understand, 3 proclaiming good news and a warning. Yet most of them turn away and so do not listen. 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is One God; so direct yourselves straight to Him, and seek His forgiveness. Woe to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity, 6 Who do not give a due share of their wealth for the welfare of others, and do not believe in the Hereafter. 7 Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them is a reward uninterrupted. 8
