In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
