So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We chose them, purposely, above (all) creatures. 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 There is naught but our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our ancestors back, if you are truthful." 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play, 38 We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand. 39 Indeed, the Day of Judgement is the appointed time for them all - 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
