Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3
We rescued the Israelites from the humiliating torment 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 These men do say, 34 There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again. 35 So then, bring forth our forefathers [as witnesses,] if what you claim is true!" 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba? And those who were before them? We destroyed them; they were indeed criminals. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We did not create them except in Truth. But most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Save those on whom Allah shall have mercy; surely He is the Mighty the Merciful. 42
