and We delivered the Children of Israel from the humbling chastisement, 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 We knowingly exalted them (i.e., the Children of Israel) above other peoples of the world 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 These men do say, 34 "There is nothing beyond our first death, and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We created them in nothing else except the truth. But most do not know. 39 Indeed the Day of Decision is the appointment for all of them. 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
