THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
