The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 Therefore We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue. They may haply take a warning. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
