The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
