Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Scripture is from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 2 Verily, in the heavens and the earth are signs for the believers. 3 In creating you and spreading all the moving things (on earth) are signs for people firm of faith, 4 And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise. 5 These are the communications of Allah which We recite to you with truth; then in what announcement would they believe after Allah and His communications? 6 Woe unto every sinful self-deceiver 7 Who hears the Verses of Allah (being) recited to him, yet persists with pride as if he heard them not. So announce to him a painful torment! 8 And when he knoweth aught of Our revelations he maketh it a jest. For such there is a shameful doom. 9 Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment. 10 This (Quran) is a guidance. Those who reject the revelations of their Lord will suffer the most painful punishment. 11
