For, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Last Hour dawns - on that Day will be lost all who [in their lifetime] tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 27 And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did! 28 This record of ours will declare the truth about you: We have been recording whatever you have been doing." 29 Then, as for those who believed and worked righteous works, their Lord will cause them to enter into His mercy: that is a manifest achievement. 30 And to those who disbelieved, it will be said “Was it not that Our verses were recited to you? In response you were haughty and were a guilty people.” 31 And when it was said to them: “Surely Allah's promise is true, and there is no doubt regarding the Hour of Resurrection,” you were wont to say: “We do not know what the Hour (of Resurrection) is. We are simply making conjectures and are not at all certain.” 32 The evil of what they had done will become clear to them, and they will be seized by what they had scorned. 33 And it will be said: This day We forget you, even as ye forgot the meeting of this your day; and your habitation is the Fire, and there is none to help you. 34 This, forasmuch as ye made the revelations of Allah a jest, and the life of the world beguiled you. Therefor this day they come not forth from thence, nor can they make amends. 35 Then praise be to Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Worlds. 36 His is the glory in the heavens and the earth. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 37
