Do those whose hearts are sick think that God will never make their malice public? 29 And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds. 30 And We shall assuredly try you until We know those of you who struggle and are steadfast, and try your tidings. 31 Lo! those who disbelieve and turn from the way of Allah and oppose the messenger after the guidance hath been manifested unto them, they hurt Allah not a jot, and He will make their actions fruitless. 32 O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain. 33 ۞ Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them. 34 So do not become weak-kneed and sue for peace, for you will have the upper hand as God is with you and will not overlook your deeds. 35 Verily the life of this world is no more than a sport and frivolity. If you believe and fear God, he will give you your reward, and will not ask for your possessions. 36 If He asks you for them, and presses you, you are niggardly, and He brings to light your rancour. 37 Behold! ye are those who are called to expend in the way of Allah, then there are of you some who are niggardly. And whosoever is niggardly is niggardly only to himself. And Allah is Self-Sufficient, and ye are the needy. And if ye turn away, He will substitute for you another people, and then they will not be the likes of you. 38
