It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They say, "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
