The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
