Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
