Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And tall date-palms, with ranged clusters; 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
