Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 to come back to life after we have died and become dust? That is most improbable!" 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Were We exhausted by the act of the first creation? And yet they are confused about a new creation. 15
