We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
