Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Everyone has come, each attended by one who will drive him on, and another who will bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 [Whereupon God will command:] "Cast, cast into hell every [such] stubborn enemy of the truth, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
