Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23
