Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who scatter (dust) by dispersing, 1 and the burden-bearers 2 and those speeding along with ease, 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 Verily that wherewith ye are threatened is surely true. 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 The heavens webbed-with-tracks is witness 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
