Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
