We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
