And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
