Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), enlighten, for by the munificence of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Do they say: "He is a poet for whom we expect an adverse turn of fortune?" 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). 32 Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe. 33 (If they are truthful in this), then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour. 34 Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators? 35 Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing. 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are over-burdened by debt? 40 Or have they the unseen so that they write (it) down? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! 43 And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." 44 Then let them be (O Muhammad), till they meet their day, in which they will be thunder-stricken, 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
Almighty God's Truth.
