(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and covered them with torment. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
