And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
