Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
