Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 Thamud, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
