Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
