Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
