Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
