Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
