To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Moon (Al-Qamar). Sent down in Mecca after The Comet (Al-Taareq) before S (Saad)
