Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
