And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
