Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
