Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
