The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 He taught him eloquent speech. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning, 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 7 That ye should not trespass in respect of the balance. 8 And keep up the balance with equity and do not make the measure deficient. 9 And He appointed the earth for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
