The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
