The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ The Merciful 1 has imparted this Qur'an [unto man]. 2 He created the human 3 and taught him its pronunciation. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 the stars and the trees bend in prostration. 6 And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance 7 so that you would maintain justice. 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 And earth -- He set it down for all beings, 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 And grain covered with husk, and fragrant flowers. 12 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 13 He created man of clay like, unto pottery. 14 whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. 15 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 Whereas there is a barrier between them so they cannot encroach upon one another. 20 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 21 Pearls and corals come forth from both of them. 22 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
