The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent 1 has taught the Quran to (Muhammad). 2 He created the human being 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 That ye exceed not the measure, 8 And establish the measures justly, nor decrease the due weight. 9 And He has set up the earth for all beings. 10 therein fruits, and palm-trees with sheaths, 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 and has created the jinn from the flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25
