▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 who are as beautiful as rubies and pearls. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Dark-green. 64 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Man has not touched them before them nor jinni. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
